The V-2 rocket--other known as the V-2 Wehrmacht-- was a ballistic missile that was developed at the beginning of World War II by Wehrmacht in Germany.
From September 1944 until the end of the war, over 3000 V-2s were launched against Allied targets, mostly against London and Antwerp. The liquid-propellant rocket was the world's first long-range combat-ballistic missile and first known human artifact to enter outer space. The V-2 Wehrmacht paved the way for the creation of modern ballistic rockets, including space rockets built and designed by the United States and Soviet Union's space programs.
This handcrafted 1:32 scale V-2 Wehrmacht model is painted in the United States Air Force (USAF) paint scheme and is painstakingly built from Philippine mahogany by our skilled craftsmen with a wealth of detail.
