Apollo Program 50th Anniversary Medallion

This NASA Official Limited Edition Medallion commemorates America's monumental team effort, the first humans on the moon and this mission's 50th Anniversary. In addition to celebrating these historic achievements, it also looks to the future of deep space exploration, from our return to the Moon, to Mars and beyond. To represent each objective, these medallions are minted with rare, lunar flown Apollo Command Module and Mars Curiosity engineering metals. Production of this official commemorative has been limited to 25,000 pieces. This distinctive, educational packaging was also designed as this medallion's Certificate of Authenticity.
